The Military Needs Linguists, Too

From translators and interpreters, to intelligence officers and reconstruction teams, the each branch of the U.S. Military is in dire need of hard-workers with language skills.

Yes, knowing "I want two beers" in a foreign language can get you far when you're relaxing while off base, to rise through the ranks of your respective service you need to have proven proficiency in a foreign language.

Once just the responsibility of intelligence officers, language skills can help your fellow soldiers whether you're an artilleryman or an infantryman.

Linguists, Translators, Interpreters and Intelligence Officers are just some of things you can do in the military.

The benefits are great, you get extra pay for language proficiency and some of the training at the Defense Language Institute is second to none.  If you interested in the military and want to know more please contact Garrett at garrett@criticallanguagementor.net.
